It is our Branch AGM that day – and we need as many members to attend as possible: online or in person, at 1700 or 2000

Just 90 minutes of your time, in person or online, that can make such a difference! Once again, we will offer several start times to enable as many people to attend as possible.

It is every member’s opportunity (and some would say obligation!) to play their part in the democracy that is at the heart of our Branch. It is where we decide as a branch on the election of officers to posts within the Branch. It is where any rule changes upon which the Branch functions are agreed. But this can only go ahead if the meeting is quorate – so every hand raised for or against is vitally important.

Many members are unaware of the amount of work that goes on behind the scenes to support members individually and collectively. (Any member of your Branch Committee team will be able to tell you more about this if you would like to know more).

To any member who wants our support in making change that they are trying to make – just ask!

To any member who wants to get involved in the work of the Branch in any way that they have skills and inclination to do so – just ask!

To any member who has thought about getting involved but would like to know more first – just ask any of us about our experience and how you would be supported in getting active.

To any member who is happy to let others be active on their behalf but does not want to get much further involved – please at least play your part by attending the AGM!
