The UK’s Visa System is changing at midnight on 31 December 2024 with implications for UNISON members.
On 31 December, all physical Visa Documents will expire. They will be replaced by a digital system. Anyone in the UK who is not a British citizen and who has physical documentation will have to transfer over to a new electronic account with the Home Office before the deadline of 31 December 2024.
There are many issues with this – including the fact that many of you might be completely unaware this change is about to take place.

Please be aware that if you do not complete this documentation you may find yourself without the ability to prove your right to live and work in the UK.
This is just an early warning that you will need to go the UNISON site to obtain
the full information of what you will need to do.
